Introduction

Today infantry game is strictly connected to official rules that are in ClanBase or ESL. Many of ranked or waib servers put in their rules: no unlocks, no commanders, co c4 etc. But as always only human administrator can prevent people from n00bs that are using forbidden candys. So i created this script to do this automatically!

Features

Battlefield 2 Oldschool Infantry Script main features:

  • Detect weapons on server, based on four different levels NO MEDICS(with unlocks), NO MEDICS(without unlocks), KNIFE-PISTOL-SHOCKPADDLE ONLY, NO UNLOCKS
    • Also detect misc weapons like: C4, CLAYMORE, Mounted MGS (stationary) and TOW Missile
  • Restriction with three modes:
    • Only inform player that his weapon is forbidden
    • Kill player just after respawn with forbidden weapon
    • Kick player after specified number of frags with forbidden weapon
  • Detect commander
    • Only info about new commander
    • Kick commander
  • Almost all settings of this script can be modified on the fly via custom rcon command (it works in game console!)

Install

  • Go to mods/bf2/python/game/ directory located on your server (ex. BF2_v1.1.2965/mods/bf2/python/game/)
  • Paste there bf2_oldschool.py file
  • Edit __init__.py file and add this two lines:

  • Restart/run your server
