Talk:Mysteries
I've moved the material =Mad= and King of Camelot were putting together on bf2.gameLogic.sendGameEvent
to a new page, GameEvent, and linked to it from the appropriate place in the Object Reference. --Woody
Hmmm, I put a new question on here yesterday, but it seems to have disappeared? The page history shows no sign of me ever putting the new question on here, yet I distinctly remember doing it. Maybe I dreamt it? Or I'm crazy. Either way I swear my question disappeared and took all traces of its creation with it.... --King of Camelot 00:11, 1 Aug 2005 (MDT)
Click on the "history" tab at the top of the page and you can see all changes that have ever been made to the page. Even if someone deletes something completely, both the original addition and the deletion will show up there. I took a quick look at the history tab for the "Mysteries" page (sounds kind of catchy: "history of mystery. . ." muahahaha. . .); before your post today, the last time you made a change to the Mysteries page was July 17. Sometimes I'll type up a change to a page, get busy, and close my browser window before I hit "save page". . . maybe something similar happened? --Woody 09:17, 1 Aug 2005 (MDT)
Thats probably what happened. I just remember typing it up, and I swore I hit save before I closed the browser, but I could very well have hit preview instead. Oh well, I guess I'll put my question up again. --King of Camelot 14:15, 1 Aug 2005 (MDT)
Moved material on where bf2.gameLogic.getWorldSize()
get's its data from (provided by King of Camelot) to the BF2 Coordinates page. Thanks! --Woody 17:59, 1 Aug 2005 (MDT)
Moved material on unregistering handlers to the Cookbook; moved into about final parameter of host.registerHandler
to the Object Reference. --Woody 18:03, 1 Aug 2005 (MDT)
How to bind keys to console commands?
I'd like to know, and i'm probably asking this wrong, but...is it possible to bind keys to do console commands? Lets take an example, in BF2 with the 1.12 patch the normal pause key was removed and it doesn't matter if you map a key to it or not it doesn't work, you can pull down the console and do 'gamelogic.togglepause' to pause the game. However, the console commad thing has its problems. In designing a new mod, when I run it and play it to work out the bugs i'd like to pause the game when something happens so i can take a closer look at whats going on and study it for a bit and pulling down the console then typing the console command in is not fast enough to stop the action then, instead it takes a few seconds to get this done and by that time the action has gone by. So anyway to script for 'hotkeys' for console commands?
